02.06.10Tenishia on fire like never before!There is no further need for introducing Joven Grech and Cyprian Cassar the guys behind local DJ Duo Tenishia. Even if you’re not into the club scene yourself you must have already read somewhere how successful this local talent is getting, or at least you must have heard one of their tunes or remixes on a local radios or events, but Tenishia’s success stretches far out from our little island. Not only the duo has performed and headlined events in various countries but their music has been sold in every corner of the world! Their achievements have revolutionized the meaning of a local DJ and inspired lots of young people into music production! No more are the local Club DJs trying to be just promoters throwing parties here and there to make a name for themselves but now they’re all looking to be artists and music producers!
Signed to the world’s best dance music label Armada Records (EMI) and published by Cloud 9 Music, Tenishia has been releasing their tunes internationally since 2005, slowly but surely building and establishing their name internationally but 2010 is yet again showing that the last five years has been only the beginning for Tenishia as the duo seems to be on fire producing hot tunes like never before! In just the first six months of 2010 Tenishia has already proven that 2010 is going to be a special one for them, they have produced a good number of tracks which are being supported by the world biggest DJs like Markus Schulz and Andy Moor, included in ‘A State of Trance’ CD Compilation by world’s number one Armin van Buuren and toured Australia with 5 gigs in January!
Even though both Joven and Cyprian insist that our island is only a little dot from what the world has to offer and they mainly focus their studio work internationally, they are still very fond of the local scene and promote their own events in Malta for the local fans who seem to be very proud that the local duo is having such international success.
Tenishia also had a local good start this year in February as two weeks after they returned from their Australia/ New Zealand tour the duo filled Malta’s biggest indoor club (Sky Club) with 3500 of their fans for the Tenishia EDM Anthems Event who rocked the place from start till finish. Next up is another ‘Tenishia Live’ Event on the 12th of June at Sky Club which will also feature during Tenishia’s 3 hr set a very special performance by Aneym, from Poland who is the vocalists from Tenishia’s latest single ‘Stranger to Myself’ and also Ivan Grech from Winter Moods who will be performing live the remixes of ‘Marigold’ and ‘Everyday Song’! Once again Tenishia’s main sponsors, Vodafone , Springfield and Dark Dog will be supporting the event!
The international adventures continue this July as Tenishia are expected to play in two beach parties in Limassol and Agia Napa in Cyprus and then another gig at the famous Escape in Amsterdam in September before joining Armin van Buuren at Amnesia in Ibiza on the next day!
